  • We are strongly committed to both releasing your music and the continuous development of your catalogue. This includes, uploading Singles, Albums and EP’S in their original form, as well as making exciting new projects with your catalogue to suit today’s market.

THE HISTORY

  • Beginning in 2015 and continuing to the present, Curtis Lynch Jnr, has provided consultancy services to a range of record labels. His key responsibilities include acquiring music catalogues either by purchase or license, extending and renegotiating agreements with Master Rights Owners and constructing digital infrastructures for music catalogues.
  • Reggae Library’s success in securing deals with top-tier producers and artists speaks for itself. Reggae Library has become the trusted ‘go-to streaming company’ for making music catalogues accessible internationally. Clients value our talent for breathing new life into their music, effectively positioning it within today’s dynamic streaming and listening landscape.
  • The first signing to Reggae Library three years ago was producer, Patrick Cann, of Arawak Records. This acquisition not only included his entire record catalogue but also secured the timeless hit single ‘Silly Games’ by Janet Kay.
  • Reggae Library, under Lynch’s guidance, has secured significant catalogue deals with leading figures such as Mr. Gussie Clarke (Music Works), Mr. Mikey Bennett, Mr. Lloyd James Jnr (John John), and Mr. Tony Kelly (K.licious), to name a few. This reflects our core principle at Reggae Library: we prioritize quality far above quantity.

CURTIS LYNCH JNR – FOUNDER

  • Specialising in Reggae Music, Curtis Lynch Jnr made a significant mark in the music world, founding ‘Necessary Mayhem’ in 2006, quickly becoming one of Europe’s leading Reggae Dancehall record labels.
  • Necessary Mayhem Records was established with the vision and goal of creating groundbreaking Reggae and Reggae-influenced music for a global audience to enjoy. In a remarkably short time, the label swiftly rose to prominence, distinguishing itself as a dominant force in the European Reggae sector under Lynch’s leadership, drive & expertise as an internationally recognised super producer.
  • Curtis Lynch Jnr’s esteemed career includes collaborations with some of the biggest names in music, such as Gorillaz, Amy Winehouse, Alicia Keys, John Legend, Buju Banton, and Beenie Man, to name a few. Beyond these high-profile projects, Lynch has been crucial in developing the careers and brands of many artists.
